BY THE INDUSTRY, FOR THE INDUSTRY

The national association Yrkesnämnden for film och tv is a collaboration between industry partners and key players in the swedish film and tv industry. We work for sustainable skills supply by promoting vocational training, skills development and meritbased recruitment in our sector.

Uddevalla Vuxenutbildning, in collaboration, has created a digital apprenticeship program in English for those who want to enter the film and television industry. 

We establish requirements and qualifications for various functions in film and television, in order to clarify professional roles and illuminate career paths.

We develop a model for industry validation in film and television, certifications at various levels, and a platform for merit-based recruitment.

We strengthen existing educations by communicating the industry's skills needs, participate in management groups och industry councils, and coordinate workplace-based educations. We also work to establish new educations at levels where there is a demand.

We build collaboration structures in the industry at local, regional and national levels, to strengthen the links between working life, education and government.
